About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for integrating core banking systems with various digital platforms and third-party services. You will work closely with business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will also be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs, middleware, and  services to ensure seamless communication and data exchange between different systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to integrate core banking systems (e.g., Temenos, Flexcube, Finacle, or similar) with external applications and digital platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs, middleware, and services to facilitate efficient communication between core banking systems and other systems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development standards.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for integration-related issues.
• Monitor system performance, ensure uptime, and provide timely resolutions for incidents.
• Prepare technical documentation for new and existing integrations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in technology and a passion for learning.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience in software development, even if not specifically in core banking.
• Basic understanding of core banking systems.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Interest in financial services and fintech.

About Role

The Information Security Officer (ISO) is responsible for safeguarding the organisation's data, infrastructure, and reputation by overseeing and implementing robust security measures. With a minimum of 10 years of experience, the ISO will lead efforts to protect the company from cyber threats, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and foster a security-conscious culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks through proactive measures and incident response planning.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and applicable laws and regulations.
• Security Operations: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT, legal, compliance, and business units to ensure effective security integration.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on leadership roles and hands-on technical expertise.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar certifications. 
• Skills: Strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, incident response, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in network security, cryptography, and secure coding practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Reporting: Reports to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) or Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
